Sweet Pea - High Scent

Delicately ruffled and enchantingly fragrant, High Scent is one of the most perfumed sweet peas you can grow. Large, creamy white blooms are brushed with soft lilac edges—elegant and romantic with every stem. Perfect for nostalgic spring posies, arched trellises, and overflowing garden beds, this variety rewards with heady fragrance and long, strong stems ideal for cutting.
You will need a structure to grow sweet peas on. My favourite being a sweet pea teepee made with bamboo stakes and twine.
Best for: Fragrant bouquets, romantic garden arches, early-season florals.
Approx 20 seeds per packet

| Sowing Tips |
Sow in late autumn (March–May) in mild climates, or late winter to early spring (July–September) in cooler areas. Sow direct or in deep root trainers to avoid disturbing roots. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Provide early support—plants will climb as soon as they gain height. |
| Growing Tips |
Thrives in full sun with rich, well-drained soil. Pinch out the tips after 3–4 sets of leaves to encourage bushier growth. Water deeply and regularly in dry spells. Harvest or deadhead regularly to keep blooms coming. Best grown on trellises, netting, or tripods for airflow and display. |
