A sophisticated twist on the classic Queen Anne’s lace, Dara brings a moody elegance to the garden and the vase. Umbels range from soft blush to deep burgundy, with feathery foliage and strong, branching stems that make it a dream for bouquet work. Light and airy yet structural, it adds just the right touch of wild romance to floral arrangements. One of the best filler flowers for both beginners and pros.
Best for: Textural filler, wild bouquets, colour variation in soft, natural palettes.
Approx 40 seeds per packet

| Sowing Tips |
Direct sow is preferred, as Dara doesn’t like root disturbance. Sow in place after the last frost, or autumn sow in milder climates. Cover seeds lightly with fine soil—darkness aids germination. Thin seedlings to allow space for branching. |
| Growing Tips |
Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Tolerant of light drought once established. Harvest when umbels are open but before pollen drops for longest vase life. Cut and come again—removing spent stems encourages new growth. Support with netting in windy or exposed areas. |
