With its glowing bronze-plum leaves and upright growth habit, Orach ‘Copper Plume’ adds a bold hit of structure and colour to both borders and bouquets. Originally grown as a leafy edible, this heirloom green has found new life in the flower garden as an ornamental filler, its metallic sheen and elegant stems bring warmth, depth, and drama to arrangements from early summer onward.

| Sowing Tips |
Direct sow in early spring. Can also be sown in trays and transplanted while still young. Sow successively for a steady supply of foliage through summer. Thin seedlings to allow plants to reach full size. |

Thrives in full sun with well-drained, fertile soil. Water regularly in dry weather to prevent bolting. Harvest when leaves are richly coloured and stems are firm. Cut entire stems for arranging or pick young leaves for salads. Can grow up to 1.5m tall if left uncut—great for height in the garden. |
