Soft and ethereal, Misty Lavender is a dreamy larkspur in a wash of dusty lilac and mauve-grey tones—perfect for gentle spring palettes and vintage-style arrangements. Its tall, graceful spires add lightness and height to garden borders and early bouquets, while its cool, muted colour makes it a favourite for weddings and dried flower work. One of the first flowers to bloom in the cutting garden.
Best for: Early-season cutting, tonal floral work, drying for timeless arrangements.
CAUTION - All parts of the Larkspur are poisonous including the seeds so be cautious when handling.

| Sowing Tips |
Best sown in autumn (March–May) in mild areas or late winter (July–August) in cold climates. Cold stratification helps: refrigerate seeds for 1–2 weeks before sowing. Sow direct or in deep trays; transplant carefully as larkspur dislikes root disturbance. Cover lightly – darkness aids germination. |
| Growing Tips |
Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Benefits from support to protect tall stems from wind damage. Regular watering helps flower development but avoid overwatering. Cut when the lowest flowers on the stem start to open for best vase life. Excellent dried – harvest early and hang to preserve colour. |
