Elegant and refined, Dianthus ‘Jeanne Dionis’ is a pure white heirloom variety cherished for its ruffled, clove-scented blooms and slender, upright stems. A standout among vintage-style flowers, it brings soft fragrance and timeless simplicity to garden beds and bouquets. With its crisp white petals and delicate form, ‘Jeanne Dionis’ pairs beautifully with both bold colours and gentle pastels in floral arrangements.
Best for: Scented garden borders, bridal bouquets, vintage-style posies, and soft, romantic planting schemes.
Edible Flowers: Use the flower petals to garnish salads, desserts, soups, icing, and cold drinks. Flavor is of mild clove. Remove the petals from the flower base before consuming as the base can be quite bitter.
