Tall spires of vibrant colour, Lupine ‘Russell’s Formula’ brings a painter’s palette to the early summer garden. With rich tones of blue, rose, soft yellow, coral, white, and bi-colours, each flower spike rises above handsome, palmate foliage with an air of cottage grandeur. A classic perennial with bold form and romantic flair—ideal for both garden display and early-summer cutting.

| Sowing Tips |
Sow in trays or direct in autumn or early spring. Seeds benefit from a 12-hour soak or light scarification before sowing. Can be slow to germinate – be patient and keep soil lightly moist. |
| Growing Tips |
Prefers full sun to light shade and well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Doesn’t like to be moved once established – plant where it can stay. Deadhead spent spikes to encourage further blooming. May go dormant in summer heat but will return. Apply mulch in summer to keep roots cool. |
