Architectural and fresh, Bells of Ireland brings height, texture, and vibrant green colour to the cutting garden. Spires of tall, winged calyxes (the “bells”) form around a central stem, creating a sculptural look that’s both modern and wild. Beloved by floral designers for its unique form and lasting power in the vase, it also dries beautifully for structure in winter arrangements. A true statement stem.
Best for: Structural height, fresh or dried bouquets, green-toned arrangements.
Approx 30 seeds per packet

| Sowing Tips |
Sow indoors in winter (June–August) or direct in early spring (August–September). Cold stratify seeds: place in fridge for 1–2 weeks before sowing. Cover seeds lightly – needs darkness to germinate. Can be slow to germinate—be patient and don’t discard trays too early. |
| Growing Tips |
Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Stems benefit from light support or wind protection. Avoid overly rich soil to prevent floppy growth. Harvest when bells are well-formed but still crisp and green. For drying, hang stems upside down in a cool, dark space. |
