A quietly striking perennial with soft domed clusters of dusky pink flowers held above slender stems. Swamp milkweed brings both beauty and purpose to the garden, flowering generously through summer and early autumn while providing an essential food source for monarch butterflies.
Elegant rather than showy, it works beautifully woven through meadow-style plantings, naturalistic borders, or cutting gardens where its subtle colouring pairs effortlessly with grasses, echinacea and late-summer annuals. Once established, it is dependable, long-lived, and increasingly floriferous with each passing season.
Best for: Beautiful filler, naturalistic detail, adding texture and depth.
Approx 40 seeds per packet
